Story
Oceanic Art
Some views never lose their pull—no matter how often you pass, they catch you off guard, drawing you in again and again. This is one of those places for me.
A jewel along the West Harris coast road, the sweeping vista over Seilebost and Luskentyre—framed by Taransay and the North Harris Hills—never fails to stir something deep within. The white sands and shifting turquoise waters feel like brushstrokes on a vast canvas, changing with every tide, cloud, and breath of wind.
On a day like today, I’m content to wait—for one tide to leave and another to arrive. With just food, a dog, and my camera, I need nothing more. The light, the silence, the rhythm of sea and sky—this is art made by nature, and it holds a special place in my heart.
