Story

It is the edge of winter. Crawling to the tide’s unfixed border, my tripod and I battle to stay upright in the demanding wind, knowing we need to be steadfast for this shot. I hold a secret feeling about long exposures. For me, the technique opens up new dimensions, revealing an alternate reality where the veil of time is lifted just long enough to capture a world outside our finite cares. A scene behind what can be seen, where the waves of ‘what is’ roll into something more infinite. The longer the shutter stays open, the deeper I am able to look.
